this week in math I learned about elapsed time. There is an easy way to find the elapsed time by using the z method. also in ELA I started a new book called Mary and her bible. It is an uplifting story. this week in science we learned about simple machines. some of the machines we learned about are a wedge and a lever.

this week in math I learned about distributive properties. my teacher taught me a fun way to understand it. this week in ELa I learned about affect and effect. Affect is a action. also in science we learned about mass. we did an experiment with balls and straws.

This week in math we learned to add fractions. we added with mixed numbers as well. This week in ELA we learned about Diagramming sentences. an adverb describes a verb. In history I learned about st Patrick. he was a very good man by spreading the gospel.

This week in science I learned about skin. the top layer of your skin is called epidermis. This week in history I learned about mummies. part of the mummifying presses is to pull the brain out with a hook.

This week in math I learned about shapes and angles. a 10 sided shape is called a decagon. This week in ELA I learned about paraphrasing. paraphrasing is making a text different from the original. In science I learned about muscles. your abbs are called abdomen. In history I learned about hyroglifics. hyroglifics have 700 symbol.

This week in math I learned about different types of lines like point, line segment, and line. also in ELA we learned about Greek and Latin words like graph which means to write our draw. this week in science we learned about the lungs and how we breath. we did a experiment with balloons. in history we learned about ancient Egypt. we learned that king Tut became king when he was nine.

this week in math I learned about long division i was  pretty good at it. Also in ELA I learned about adverb and adjectives. an adjective describes a noun. a adverb describes a verb. in science we learned about the heart. the heart pumps more blood when you exercise. in history I learned about Issac and Abraham. Abraham got a call from God to sacrifice his only son Issac. It was fun learning about all of this.

This week in math I learned about prime and composite numbers like 2,11,13, and 17. I liked learning about this. also in ELA I read a poem about babies i liked it because it was funny. In science I learned about the structure of a cell. one of the parts of the cell is  lysosomes. its job is to clean the out the dead parts in the cell. in history I learned about the creation of the earth

This week in math I learned about graphs. I went around the class asking people about their favorite snack to bring on a  hike and made a graph. also in ELA I read a book called blind brother. it is about a blind boy who works in the mines. in Science I learned about the digestive system. we put bread and vinegar in a bag to act like a stomach. in history I learned about cane and Abel. I learned that cane killed Abel out of anger.
